Energy Fuels (EFR) has signed a definitive supply agreement with Neo Performance Materials Inc. (TSX:NEO, Not Rated) and entered into the rare earth element supply chain. The company is ramping up its mixed rare earth carbonate production since it first started feeding Georgia-sourced monazite into its White Mesa Mill in Utah in March. With plans to process 15,000 tons of Monazite next year, this would represent 50% of current US RE demand, while only using about 2% of White Mesa Mill throughput capacity and 1% of its tailings capacity.
