Continuous development is taking place in the digital society and consumers are increasingly entering into agreements over the internet. The law (1915: 218) on contracts and other legal acts in the area of property law (from here on the contract law or AvtL) was founded more than 100 years ago. The traditional way of entering an agreement at that time was in paper form by one party submitting a bid followed by an acceptance from the counterparty.Today, the development has progressed and it is now more common for consumers to enter into agreements over the Internet by accepting contract terms formulated as standard contracts.
