The Silver Spoon Stewardship Contract is located in Taylor County, WI, T33N, R1W, Sections 1, 2, 10, 11, & 12. The Forest Service will be accepting sealed bids at the Medford-Park Falls Ranger District, 1170 4th Ave S, Park Falls, WI 54552 at 11:00 AM local time on 05/29/2018 for an estimated volume of 547 CCF of Mixed Conifer sawtimber, 56 CCF of Mixed Hardwood sawtimber, 4,060 CCF of Aspen pulpwood, 166 CCF of Mixed Conifer pulpwood, 984 CCF of Mixed Hardwood pulpwood, and 44 CCF of Red Pine Pulp marked for cutting. In addition, there are estimated quantities of 244.86 acres of Aspen Site Prep, 4.58 acres of Mechanical Brushing, and 16 Grouse Drumming Logs to be felled identified as a Mandatory Stewardship Service Item that must be performed under the contract. Bid for sawtimber, pulpwood, and service items will be at fixed rates and must be accompanied with a technical proposal. The Forest Service reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
