This MAA is about the regeneration of local communities in the five Olympic host boroughs of Greenwich, Hackney, Newham, Tower Hamlets, and Waltham Forest. It will contribute to overturning the long history of deprivation by seizing the many opportunities, including the Olympics, in the boroughs and focusing on the major economic drivers to stimulate change – in simple terms, this is about giving people access to a decent job, a decent and appropriate home, and a decent place to live and settle.
