The parties to this Agreement are units of government responsible for the enforcement of controlled substance laws in their respective jurisdictions. The parties desire to work cooperatively in the enforcement of controlled substance laws and, for that purpose, are hereby forming the Northwest Metro Drug Task Force as a joint powers entity. This Agreement is made pursuant to the authority conferred upon the parties by Minnesota Statutes, § 471.59.
