This Amendment #2 terminates the agreement with TxDOT funding. A new TASA agreement will replace this agreement. The termination of the agreement was due to bids received by the County during bid letting exceeding the construction budget and would have required additional funding from TxDOT and County to complete construction. A new TASA agreement will have TxDOT letting and leading the construction versus the County leading construction, which will also be presented before the Commissioners Court at the February 15th Court session.
