The intent of this contract is to develop and implement a curriculum-based creative writing program and accompanying playbook to serve as a guide for the non-clinical creative writing sessions to be carried out at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center (WRNMMC) and the National Intrepid Center of Excellence (NICoE). The contractor(s) shall also participate in discussions and/or meetings with instructors standing up similar writing programs being developed and implemented across the Network (through Creative Forces Demonstration Project support) that are not technically clinical in nature, but are conducted in coordination with Creative Forces clinical partners and share a common desire to advance understanding of how these creative writing approaches can be leveraged as a tool to facilitate health and well-being in trauma-exposed service members and veterans as well as their families and caregivers.
