As communicated in February this year, Industrial Solar GmbH has carried out a detailed design for their flagship technology, the linear concentrating Fresnel Collector, for the Greek company KEBE. KEBE is one of Europe’s largest manufacturer of roof tiles and clay bricks. The process heat generated by the Fresnel system will be used directly in KEBE’s production process. Following the successful completion of the technical design, the two parties have committed to enter into a cooperation agreement. The agreement between Industrial Solar and KEBE will include both the installation of a 6.4 MWth solar thermal process heating system at KEBE's plant in Kilkis, Greece, and the commitment to develop a market and implement specific projects using Industrial Solar's Fresnel process heating technology. The parties plan to sign the final contract in Q1/2023.
