Parent Responsibilities❏ Make sure my child attends school every day on time and completes any assigned learning.❏ Parents are responsible for helping their child complete assignments and communicating with their teacher. Provide study space, study materials and learning opportunities for my child, in the home or through the library, church or community.❏ Attend parent-teacher conferences, School Improvement Meetings (SIT) meetings and workshops whenever possible in order to help my child learn.❏ Participate in ongoing two way communication between school and home to ensure my child’s academic and social emotional needs are met. This includes ensuring the school has updated contact information.❏ Ask my child every day for home/school communication.❏ Limit my child’s screen time, monitor content and ensure appropriate use of technology.❏ Make sure my child is well rested.❏ Volunteer in my child’s class or school when possible.
