The Board of Education for Community High School District 155, hereinafter referred to as “Board” and the Community High Education Support Staff, IEA/NEA, hereinafter referred to as “CHESS”, recognize that the schools seek to provide the best educational opportunities possible for the students of District 155. The Board and CHESS work toward creating an environment where encouragement, support, safety, and success can be attainable for every student. Building and maintaining a student-centered learning community depends on everyone in the organization. Accordingly, the Board and CHESS will work to recruit, develop, and retain individuals with a commitment to the school as a professional learning community. The Board designates the Administration of District 155 as its designee in all respects with regards to the management of this agreement.
