This Memorandum of Understanding (“MOU”) dated , 2019 (“Effective Date”), is made and entered into by and between the City of San Bernardino, a charter city and municipal corporation organized and operating under the laws of the State of California, through the San Bernardino Municipal Water Department (“Department”), and the San Bernardino Valley Municipal Water District, a water district organized and existing under the California Municipal District Law of 1911 (“District”). Department and District are also sometimes referred to individually as a “Party” and collectively as the “Parties.”
