AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE COUNTY OF SAN MATEO AND PACIFICA COMMUNITY TELEVISION FOR PUBLIC, EDUCATION, AND GOVERNMENTAL ACCESS TELEVISION SERVICES THIS AGREEMENT, entered into this day of , 20 , by and between the COUNTY OF SAN MATEO, hereinafter called "County," and PACIFICA COMMUNITY TELEVISION, hereinafter called "Contractor"; W I T N E S S E T H: WHEREAS, pursuant to Government Code, Section 31000, County may contract with independent contractors for the furnishing of such services to or for County or any Department thereof; and WHEREAS, it is necessary and desirable that Contractor be retained for the purpose of Public, Education, and Governmental (PEG) access provider within the service territory defined in this Agreement; and WHEREAS, the County is the franchising authority for the cable television distribution system serving said portion of the unincorporated area of San Mateo County; and WHEREAS, this Agreement defines the rights and obligations of said parties in connection with
