This tenancy agreement is a Starter Tenancy. This means that for the first 12 months, the tenancy agreement will be an Assured Shorthold Tenancy, this can be extended. An Assured Shorthold Tenancy is a less secure form of tenure than an Assured Tenancy, which means that it is much easier for us to evict you should there be any serious problems. You also have fewer rights than an Assured Tenant.
