I, Penuell Mpapa Maduna, Minister for Justice and Constitutional Development, hereby give notice in terms of section 2(3) ter of the Extradition Act, 1962 (Act No. 67 of 1962), that the Parliament of the Republic of South Africa has on 3 November 2000 agreed to the ratification of the Extradition Treaty between the Republic of South Africa and Australia as set out in the Schedule. The Treaty will enter into force on 1 August 2001.
