The City of Ventura is required to maintain ongoing compliance for the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 70E, Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) 29-CFR, Part 1910 Sub part S, Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE) 1584, and National Electrical Safety Code (NESC) standards. The last Arc Flash Study was conducted in 2018. The study will provide a short circuit analysis, protective device coordination study and arc flash hazard analysis to maintain the City’s continued compliance every five years.
