It is the intent and object of this Agreement that the Employer and the Union cooperate to obtain efficient and unrestricted operation of the industry; to promote peaceful and harmonious relations between the Employer and the employees; to provide for the amicable settlement of all disputes and grievances and to establish rates of pay, hours of work and other conditions of employment to be observed between the parties hereto.
