On December 31, 2023, the District’s watercraft inspection program delegation agreement with the DNR expired. As a requirement for the District to be authorized to operate a watercraft inspection program, a new delegation agreement must be executed. The DNR’s contract allows for applicants to renew their agreement for 1 to 3 years. Staff have selected to extend the agreement until December 31, 2026, giving the District another 3 years to operate the watercraft inspection program.
