The City of Bishop Community Services Department and the Friends of the Eastern Sierra Community Gardens have worked together to file an application with the California Natural Resources (CNRA) Urban Greening Grant for the Community Garden Enhancement Project. The application was filed on March 28th, 2022, and was awarded the Urban Green Grant funding. The Community Garden Enhancement Project will provide for demonstration areas, ADA access, trees, irrigation upgrades, compost area, and shade area within the access garden.
