This agreement will commence on 1 April 2024 for an initial period of one year. Subject to a satisfactory review by the Department after six months implementation of the work programme, there will be an option to extend the grant for a further two periods of up to 12 months each, again subject to Departmental review each year. DfE will develop a revised work programme each year, and the grantee can determine if they agree to the extension. DfE envisages this programme finishing by 31 March 2027. Each year this agreement will constitute a separate ‘funding period’ for the purposes of this agreement.
