The United States Department of Justice, Civil Rights Division, Educational Opportunities Section, and the United States Attorney’s Office for the District of New Mexico (collectively, “DOJ” or the “Department”), received and investigated complaints that the University of New Mexico (“UNM” or the “University”) failed to adequately respond to allegations of sexual assault of students.
