ELECTION AGREEMENT BETWEEN TRAVIS COUNTY ANDElection Agreement • December 6th, 2024 • Texas
Pursuant to Chapter 31, Subchapter D, Chapter 123, and Chapter 271 of the Texas Election Code and Chapter 791 of the Texas Government Code, Travis County (the “County”) and Travis County Water Control & Improvement District No. 20 (“Participating Entity”) enter into this agreement (this “Agreement”) for the Travis County Clerk, as the County’s election officer(the “Election Officer”), to conduct the Participating Entity’s elections, including runoffs,and for the Participating Entity’s use of the County’s current or future-acquired election equipment for any voting system that the County adopts, as authorized under Title 8 of the Texas Election Code, for all Participating Entity elections. The purpose of this Agreement is to maintain consistency and accessibility in voting practices, polling places,and election procedures in order to best assist the voters of the Participating Entity.
