Construction of the West Fir Street Rehabilitation project is slated to begin in May/June of 2019. City of Sequim’s Public Works Department does not have enough personnel to dedicate a full-time Resident Engineer to provide construction oversight of West Fir Street. Therefore, Public Works is recommending a consultant construction manager be hired to augment City staff. City staff will perform office engineering tasks related to contract, grant, and loan administration.
