NAME DESCRIPTION FEE Post-Placement Following placement of a child, an Adoptive Family is required to go through a supervisory period that includes home visits by a social worker. The specified time period and number of visits is often based on country requirements. This process is much like the home study process, except the emphasis will be placed on the development of the child and on the family dynamics now that the child is placed. Adoption S.T.A.R. conducts post- placement supervision throughout New York State, Florida and Ohio. Fee is based on the number of visits and geographic location. This fee will be honored for one year from the date this agreement is received.$1050 includes 3 supervisory visits** for those who reside within the counties of Western New York (Alleghany, Cattaraugus, Chautauqua, Erie, Genesee, Orleans, Niagara, Wyoming, Monroe, Wayne, Livingston & Ontario), within the South Florida counties (Broward, Dade and Palm Beach) or within the Ohio Southwest Region (
