DISCUSSION: Brevard Public Schools was awarded the Carol M. White Physical Education Program (PEP) Grant on October 1, 2013. The attached agreement includes the purchase of fitness games and training. The purpose of this grant is to initiate, expand or enhance physical education programs, including after-school programs, for students in kindergarten through 12th grade. Grant recipients must implement programs that help student make progress toward meeting state standards. The funding for this agreement is provided by the Carol M. White PEP Grant. CONTRACT TERM: The contract term shall commence November 18, 2014 and continue until September 30, 2015. RECOMMENDATION: November 3, 2014 It is the recommendation of Cyndi Van Meter, Associate Superintendent, Curriculum and Instruction, Barbara Rodrigues, Director of Middle School Programs, and Rachel Winsten, Project Manager for the Carol M. White Physical Education Program Grant, and staff, to approve the attached agreement with Skilla
