Group Key Agreement Schemes for Platooning with a Dynamic LeadThesis • July 15th, 2021
Contract Type FiledJuly 15th, 2021Platooning in autonomous vehicular networks has attracted significant interest in recent years. Platoon-based autonomous driving can improve vehicle safety, traffic efficiency and energy efficiency for vehicles. Cybersecurity is of utmost important issues that needs to be addressed for platoons, and one important aspect is how members of the platoon negotiate a group key for them to communicate with each other. There is already significant previous effort on group key management schemes. Different from existing work, this thesis considers a dynamic lead vehicle scenario, with the goal of reducing the energy and computational costs for the lead vehicle.
