Students are entitled to be informed in advance about all of their obligations and, in so far as is possible, about the faculty’s expectations of them. The following degree requirements may be added (as appropriate): course requirements, conference submissions, grant proposals, drafts of a program paper or thesis, trials of devices, etc. Deadlines must take into account predictable absences.
