Following the release of the RFP, a proposal evaluation team received and reviewed the proposals, participated in on-site vendor product demonstrations, interviewed potential vendors and visited and interviewed law enforcement agencies which have existing wireless communications systems. The next phase of this project will consist of the selection of a vendor and the negotiation and implementation of a contract to comptete this project. To this end, a critical need has been identified to obtain the services of a qualified communications engineering firm, specializing in radio frequencies, to assist us with the contract negotiationand implementation process.
