This document has been prepared by Ukie Associate Member, Harbottle & Lewis. It is a basic employment agreement intended to be used as a starting point for UK-based businesses wishing to employ full-time, UK-based, junior-level employees only, i.e. those working 5-days per week, for a full working day from 9am to 5.30 pm. This document is therefore not suitable for freelancers, consultants or workers, or any part-time or casual employment, and it would not be suitable for senior personnel such as directors or executives. It is unsuitable for overseas employees or employers or fixed-term employees.
