This is an agreement between the Board of Education of the Gadsden Independent Schools (hereinafter District) and BienEstar Family Counseling Center, a corporation whose mission is to improve the quality of life of individuals and families by helping them make positive changes and healthy and effective choices by providing professional counseling, treatment, community support and educational advocacy in a physically and psychologically safe environment that builds self esteem. We are committed to the principal that all persons who need mental health treatment should receive individualized quality counseling services. The Therapeutic/Counseling Program provides one on one support by trained Clinical Counselors to specific, referred students who exhibit significant mental, behavioral and/or emotional challenges.
