Immediately prior to the Assignment to the First Assignee hereinafter referred to, the First Owner was the registered owner and in possession of the Land (as hereinafter defined) and entitled to a Government lease thereof for the residue of a term of 75 years commencing from the 16th day of November 1931 with an option of renewal for a further term of 75 years subject to and with the benefit of the Conditions (as hereinafter defined).
