It is mutually agreed that the purpose and intent of this agreement is to promote co-operation and harmony between the Employer, the employees, and the Union, and to secure for the parties the full benefits of orderly collective bargaining; to recognize mutual interest and to provide a channel through which information and problems may be transmitted from one to the other, and to provide an amicable method for the fair and peaceful disposition of all grievances, to promote efficiency in the production of quality products, and to set forth the conditions of employment to be observed by the employees, the Union and the Company. The Company and the Union agree that they will administer their rights under the terms of the Collective Agreement in a fair and reasonable manner.
