A “student-issued device” is defined as anything that is dedicated or assigned to a particular student. All students in Grades 5 through 8 of the Charles DeWolf Middle School are issued a Chromebook computer for their educational use. It is our belief that if reasonable precautions and care are taken in the use of the Chromebook, the Chromebook should not experience physical damage. However, there is the possibility that a student’s Chromebook may be lost, stolen or damaged. Should that occur, the student’s parent/guardian shall be fully liable for any damage or loss occurring to the equipment during the period of its use.
