Contract Type FiledMarch 22nd, 2022The Paris Lodron University of Salzburg FV3 PALMAR Image Spoofing Data Set (PLUS-FV3 Spoof) consists of finger vein images acquired from presentation attack artefacts. The body of the artefacts are made of beeswax whereas the vein pattern itself is printed on white paper. The images have been acquired using the PLUS- OpenVein Finger Vein Scanner (http://www.wavelab.at/sources/PLUS-OpenVein). The source images for extracting the vein pattern have been taken from the publicly available PLUSVein-FV3 Finger Vein Data Set (http://www.wavelab.at/sources/PLUSVein-FV3). It is made publicly available for research and non-commercial purposes in order to stimulate and support the research in the area of finger-vein presentation attack detection. The Wavelab Group at the University of Salzburg, Salzburg, AUSTRIA (henceforth, PLUS) owns the copyright of this database and is responsible for the distribution of the database.
