MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING

This Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) sets forth the terms and understanding between Advanced Medical Technology Association (AdvaMed), American Clinical Laboratory Association (ACLA), Association for Molecular Pathology (AMP), Association of Public Health Laboratories (APHL), College of American Pathologists (CAP), Council of State and Territorial Epidemiologists (CSTE), Food and Drug Administration (FDA), National Independent Laboratory Association (NILA), COLA Inc., Administration for Strategic Preparedness and Response (ASPR), and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention/ Office of Laboratory Science and Safety/Division of Laboratory Systems (CDC/OLSS/DLS) (hereinafter referred to collectively as “Parties”). The Parties represented in this MOU agree to collaborate on enhancing laboratory testing surge capacity outside of CDC and public health laboratories before and during public health emergencies (PHEs).
