Three implementation options were offered: • Option A slimmed down set of national set of standards as an alternative to current standards like the Code for Sustainable Homes• Option B that offers for standards to be included only in the Building Regulations, eventually, but with a national standard set as an interim step• Option C inclusion of all standards in the Building Regulations at the earliest opportunity without any interim standard set.Alongside the main Consultation document1 a detailed Consultation Stage Impact Assessment2 was published together with a 43 page cost report produced by a consortium led by EC Harris, detailing initial costing research for the appropriate standards. 3.
