The purpose of this Agreement is, in the mutual inter- ests of the Company and the employees, to establish orderly collective bargaining between the Company and the Union, and to establish the best possible conditions as herein provided so as to develop and maintain, with the aid of the Union, a spirit of cooperation between the Company and its employees, and to further doing an effective job together of manufacturing good quality products, recognizing that the well-being of the Company and that of its employees depends upon the welfare of the business as a whole. It is the desire of the Company and the Union to provide full and efficient employment.
