One. Whereas on 27 March 2014, Commission Regulation (EU) 312/2014 of 26 March 2014 on the establishment of a network code on Gas Balancing of Transmission Networks was published in the Official Journal of the European Union. This new regulation establishes the provisions governing gas balancing of transmission networks through gas pipelines, including those related to nomination procedures, balance tariffs, settlement processes linked to daily imbalance charges and the operating balance between transmission network manager networks.
