MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDINGWashington • May 5th, 2020
Pursuant to RCW 19.27.070 (7) Department of Enterprise Services, a Washington State governmental agency (“Enterprise Services”) “shall provide administrative and clerical assistance to the building code council.” RCW 19.27.074(2)(b) the Washington State Building Code Council, a Washington State governmental council (“SBCC”) “may employ permanent and temporary staff and contract for services.” Enterprise Services and SBCC (collectively the Parties) desire to collaborate to provide administrative support for SBCC in an efficient, accountable fashion to leverage State resources. Therefore, the Parties hereby enter into this memo of understanding for the hiring of a Managing Director to fill the positon of the retiring managing director.
