This contract is a template or a “suggested standardized agreement form” covering the building transaction for use between the contractor and a customer, “where construction is on the customer’s property.” A different form (Template B) should be used when improvements are made to property owned by the contractor, because there are different provisions and disclosure requirements mandated by law in that situation.
