This is an Agreement with Health First, Inc. to continue the Project SEARCH program at both Holmes Regional Medical Center and Cape Canaveral Hospital. Students with disabilities are provided with internships in various departments throughout the hospitals. The purpose of these internships are for the students to acquire job related skills in real life situations with the goal of employment at the end of the year. The School Board will reimburse Health First, Inc. for teachers of students participating in the program. These funds are projected and budgeted for 20 students in school number 1073 (90% of the earned full-time equivalent [FTE]).
