This contract is entered into, by and between the Parkston Education Association (PEA), an affiliate of the South Dakota Education Association (SDEA) and the National Education Association (NEA), hereinafter called the "Association," as the sole and exclusive representative of all as the sole and exclusive representative of custodians and paraprofessionals in the Parkston School District and the Board of Education of the Parkston School District, hereinafter called the "Board", and its successor boards. The Board has a statutory obligation pursuant to SDCL 3-18 to negotiate with the Association as the sole and exclusive representative of its classified personnel. This agreement shall be effective from July 1, 2010 to June 30, 2011, unless otherwise specified.
