Bid Terms: Bids should be submitted with both a per-acre price and total annual price (for 65 acres). The winning bidder will be responsible for paying the total lease price annually to Auburn University at a date mutually agreed upon in the lease agreement. The lease will be for a total duration of 5 years, with an annual lease agreement anniversary date of March 1st. The lease agreement can be terminated by either party on any annual lease agreement anniversary date of March 1st, as long as ninety (90) days written notice is provided. Any understory vegetative control or maintenance to improve the pine straw harvest will be the responsibility of the winning bidder.
