This Data Protection Agreement and its annexes (“DPA” or “Contract”) establishes minimum data protection and cyber-security standards and related requirements and forms part of the contract, including a commercial agreement, a service agreement or an order (the “Agreement”). This DPA is entered into by and between the Customer (as defined in the Agreement) and Leica (as defined in the Agreement,) and shall continue in full force and effect for the duration of the Agreement. Leica Biosystems (hereinafter referred to as the “Contract Processor”) and Cus- tomer (hereinafter referred to as the “Responsible Entity” or “Controller”) are hereinafter individ- ually referred to as a “Party” or collectively as the “Parties”.
