The Downtown Development Authority (DDA) recently raised funds to build a play area in Wenonah Park. Over the years, we have had many requests for a playground for children to enjoy while with their families in Wenonah Park during events. The City desires to continue to utilize the Park for community recreational purposes and as an outdoor venue for the presentation of concerts, plays, displays, exhibits and other cultural events. The addition of such play area will add to the many attractions in the Park, such as the Pavilion, Band Shell, Riverwalk, etc.
