FiledAugust 19th, 2022Bachelor of Teaching (Primary) To be completed by the principal of the field-based school the student will attend while studying Te Rito Maioha’s Bachelor of Teaching (Primary) programme is a bicultural field-based model. As a field-based programme, students will be placed in a school for two days per week during semester time. During these two field-based days, the students will be in the role of a student teacher under the supervision/mentorship of a fully certified teacher. During this time, it is a TCNZ requirement that the student teacher is not in the role of a teacher and will not have sole responsibility for a class.
