The City of Cooper City and the Cooper City Optimist Club have had a longstanding relationship for more than forty years. The relationship between the City and the Club was established when the need to provide organized sports programs to the City’s youth was realized but without the city personnel to provide it. The Club committed to providing an extensive, year-round sports program for the Cooper City community. The Optimist Club operates with voluntary participation as a Non-Profit (501) (c) (3) Organization.
