Under The Roads (NI) Order 1993, anyone undertaking works to a public road requires Department for Infrastructure (DfI) Roads consent. In order to comply with requirements of a planning permission, development may require provision of improvement works to the existing public road network. There are two forms of Agreement by which such consent for road improvements may be granted.
