At STS’s Jewish Learning Community, it is our responsibility to provide every student with a quality Jewish Education in a safe and respectful environment. The agreement that you hold in your hands represents the responsibility that you, our students and parents, have in being part of Shomrei Torah’s Jewish Learning Community. In being a member of our learning community, you have the responsibility to help keep our school a place of learning, respect, and personal and emotional safety. We offer this agreement as a way of letting you know what your responsibilities are and how the school administration will respond if you choose to neglect your responsibilities. This agreement is based on the mitzvah of ‘Shalom Bayit,’ or, ‘Peace in the House,’ signifying that this agreement functions as a means to keep the peace for all.
