This agreement shall be for the purpose of pursuing new technologies for unmanned aerial systems (UAS) missions, as part of the Advanced Capabilities Emergency Response Operations (ACERO) Project. The collaboration will focus on integrating communications, remote sensing, and other technologies with a new prototype air traffic management system. These efforts support ACERO objectives to enable aerial firefighting operations even during degraded visual conditions.
