This Second Amendment to the Contract (the “Second Amendment”) is made pursuant to Section 19.6 of the Contract for Iowa Medicaid Enterprise Member Services (the “Contract”) between the State of Iowa, Department of Human Services (the “Department” or “DHS”) and MAXIMUS, Inc. (the “Contractor”) effective as of July 1, 2004. This Amendment is effective as of September 1, 2006, (the “Second Amendment Effective Date”) and will remain coterminous with the Contract.
